Geelong Afro Night, an exciting annual event organised by the Nigeria Association of Geelong Inc. After the incredible success of our 2023 Geelong Afro Night, we are thrilled to expand our cultural celebration and invite you to be part of an even more remarkable experience this year.

For the Geelong Afro Night 2025, we’re calling on all Africans to represent their countries at this event. Take a table and invite your friends from your country to join as well. All African countries are welcome. It’s all free. Just click the button below to register.

The Nigeria Association of Geelong Inc., was established in 2017. A cultural organisation that seek to propagate the cultural heritage of the Nigeria people. It is an umbrella association that brings together the Nigeria community in Geelong and its environs.

In 2023, we hosted over 150 attendees, who came together to celebrate the vibrant and diverse cultures of Africa. The event was filled with music, dance, food, and fashion, bringing the community closer and showcasing the richness of African heritage.

We received glowing feedback from attendees, sponsors, and local partners alike, which encouraged us to make 2025 even bigger and better. This year, we are aiming to double our attendance, targeting 300 people from across Geelong, regional Victoria, and beyond.

What's New for 2025?

This year, we’re expanding the scope of Geelong Afro Night by inviting more African communities to take part. While the Nigeria Association of Geelong will continue to be at the heart of the event, we are proud to include other African nations, such as: Congo, Kenya, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Tanzania, Liberia, Ghana, Sudan and others.

We believe that showcasing a wide variety of African cultures will not only enhance the experience but also promote unity among our diverse communities. To participate, each community must provide at least 10 confirmed representatives, who are also willing to dress in their traditional cultural attire.
